Liwutongkidi island is located on Siompu and Katadua subdistrict, Buton, South East of Sulawesi. This island is only 1000 km and has tropic season. Included as one of BASILIKA ( Batauga, siompu, Liwutongkidi and Kadatua), Liwutongkidi is expected to become one of the interesting tourism objects in South East of Sulawesi.
The beauty of this island is gotten from the under water and on the beauty of white sand seashore. Like the other tourism object on the seashore, we can see wave which will create an suitable atmosphere which is combine with white sand.
To reach this place we can pass Kendari first. Then we can use Boat or Plane to Baubau. If we use Boat, it will spend 4 hours meanwhile we will spend 2 hours if we go there by plane. Then we can reach Liwutongkidi by using sea transportation for 15 minutes. We also can spent our night there as there are many hotels which are located near Baubau.
